Updated Docs

In this update, we have updated the CalcKit documentation and added some explanations about the new Start Screen that was added with the last update, as well as instructions on how to add the Calculator Shortcut to the home screen and the different ways to start the Floating Calculator.

Improved Settings

Some functionality issues affecting the following settings have been fixed.

Copy result on "="

The calculator continued automatically copying the result even after the setting was turned off, until a new start of the application. Now the calculator will restart automatically after you change this setting and exit the settings menu.

Keep last calculation

There was a bug that kept the last calculation most of the time even though this setting was turned off. This is now fixed and the last calculation is only remembered when switching from the floating calculator to the normal calculator via the Maximize button.

Calculator visible on Start

If you tried to resume the application via the "CalcKit" shortcut after it had already been started, the calculator would automatically close for some reason. This is now fixed.

Added "Foot, Inch" Unit

The combined unit Foot, Inch has been added to the Length converter to facilitate conversion from metric to imperial units.

Because the converters in CalcKit does not support multiple fields on the same line, the values of the Foot, Inch unit are like this:

6ft = 6
6ft 1in = 6.01
6ft 2in = 6.02
6ft 3in = 6.03
6ft 4in = 6.04
6ft 5in = 6.05
6ft 6in = 6.06
6ft 7in = 6.07
6ft 8in = 6.08
6ft 9in = 6.09
6ft 10in = 6.1
6ft 11in = 6.11
...

Improved Accessibility

Many optimizations and hundreds of labels have been added to improve accessibility for users of assistive technologies such as TalkBack, BrailleNote and the like.

More improvements will be made in future updates, with the aim of making CalcKit more accessible and easier to use for everyone.
