How to Create and Restore a Full Backup?

At the bottom of the CalcKit Settings menu (on Android), you'll find the Full CalcKit Backup section with two options: Create Backup and Restore Backup.

Create Backup

Tap Create Backup to generate a JSON text containing all your CalcKit data. You can save this text anywhere you like (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Restore Backup

To restore your data:

• Open the text file where you saved the backup.
• Copy the content of the file.
• Open the CalcKit Settings menu
• Tap the Restore Backup button.

All your data will be restored, but keep in mind this will overwrite everything (favorites, custom tools, history, etc.) with no undo option. It's best to do this on a new installation.
