CalcKit 8.1 is here — this release focuses on language accessibility and a smoother first launch experience for new users.

What's new?

🌍 Expanded Language Support

Three new languages have been added to CalcKit, and every existing language has been fully reviewed and completed — gaps that previously fell back to English are now properly translated.

• Korean (한국어) — newly added
• Arabic (العربية) — newly added
• Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) — newly added
• All previously supported languages are now fully translated

🚀 Calculator-First Launch

"Show calculator on start" is now enabled by default. When you open CalcKit, you land directly in the Calculator instead of the Toolbox — a smoother experience especially for new users.

• The Calculator is now the first screen you see on launch
• Pressing Back from the Calculator exits the app (no longer reveals the Toolbox behind it)
• Users who previously configured this setting will see no change
• The Toolbox is still fully accessible via the "Tool Box" button in the Calculator

🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements

• Premium status on new devices: Fixed an issue where premium features weren't properly recognized immediately after installing on a new or reset device — CalcKit now re-checks billing status when returning to the Calculator screen, ensuring your subscription is reflected correctly.
• The "Show calculator on start" setting has been slightly renamed for clarity (was "Calculator Visible on Start").
